Mythical derives from myth, something fabulous and fantastic. It’s a tribute to our grandmother, an incredible woman that actively participated in building our winery. Without her, none of this would be possible. Her great passion for the land has led us to create this refreshing cava of Mediterranean palate. La Mítica is a cava full of character, unforgettable and brave, just like her.
La Mítica is a collaborative project for which we’ve worked hand in hand with local winegrowers, with whom we have long lasting family links and alliances. We inspect and select plots in every area to find the expression we look for in this line.

ORIGIN OF THE GRAPES
Xarel·lo: Bush vines planted between 1987 and 1988, located at 285 meters above sea level.
Macabeo: Bush vines planted between 1973 and 1974, located 271 meters above sea level.
Parellada: Bush vines planted between 1984 and 1990, located at 396 meters above sea level. This elevation offers larger diurnal temperature range which aids maturation, helps to retain acidity and increased amounts of polyphenol in the grapes.
La Mitica Brut Rosé is made from a coupage dominated by the Trepat grape variety, ideally suited to sparkling wine production. It comes from La Conca de Barberá area, where the microclimate is very appropriate for this variety.
